Wearclock stores your timer, schedule, log, and photos only on your phone. There is no account, no server, and no analytics — nothing about how you use the app is ever collected or sent anywhere. The only network call the app makes is the purchase screen, handled by Google Play, Apple, or RevenueCat.
What data does Wearclock collect?
None. Everything you enter — when trays are out, your tray schedule, your settings, your log, your progress photos — is stored only in a local database on your own phone. Wearclock has no account system, no sign-in, and no server to send any of it to. There are no analytics and no crash-reporting SDKs collecting usage data in the background, and there are no ads, so there is no ad network to share anything with either.
What about the purchase screen?
The only time Wearclock talks to the internet at all is the Pro purchase screen. That screen is handled by Google Play or Apple's App Store, and purchases are processed through RevenueCat. Read RevenueCat's privacy policy for what that step involves — Wearclock itself never sees your payment details.
Does my phone's own backup include Wearclock?
On Android, no. Wearclock opts out of Android's automatic backup, so your log and your progress photos are never copied to Google. On iPhone, your iCloud backup may include Wearclock's data the same way it includes any other app's — that backup is yours, controlled in iPhone Settings, and Wearclock has no access to it and receives nothing from it. Either way, the deliberate way to move your history to a new phone is the backup file you export yourself.
What happens to my backup file?
Backup exports your Wearclock data to a single file that you choose where to save — your phone's storage, a cloud drive you control, wherever you like. Wearclock never uploads it anywhere itself. Restoring reads that same file back in, which is how you move your history to a new phone.
